Your Salvation Is Not Just For You

If you have it, salvation is not just for you, it is for those that you are to pray for, witness to, preach to, share the gospel with, live a Christian life before and for those who will hear the gospel through the ministers and ministries that you should support in prayer and financially.

1 John 3:17: But whoso hath this world*s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?

We do no damage to God*s truth if we say this: Whoso hath eternal life, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?

Eternal life is a much more important need that the goods of this world. These truths do not just apply to full-time ministers, they apply to full-time Christians. If Christ is living in your heart, he is living there 24/7. He does not come and go. There is no such thing as part-time eternal life and no such thing as a part-time Christian. You may say that you cannot share the gospel and that may be true. But if you say that you cannot pray for others and support those who do share the gospel, you are not being truthful. When you are willing to pray earnestly for others, the Lord might just enable you to share the gospel with them too.

2 Thessalonians 3:1: Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:

John 20:21: Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

Mark 16:15: And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Matthew 4:19: And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.

Matthew 5:14: Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

Matthew 5:13: Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

Acts 1:8: But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

2 Timothy 4:2: Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

1 Peter 3:15: But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
